Webster’s dictionary defines cute as “attractive or pretty especially in a childish, youthful, or delicate way.” Our society, through the media, ideologies, and stereotypes, defines cute in the same manner, but adds parameters to it. It’s not uncommon for us to perceive cuteness as a size 0-6, with certain hair textures, skin tones, and all the right body proportions. This defines beauty. If you have these, you are beautiful, and you will be happy and successful.
Sounds ridiculous right? But many women believe this and feel pressured to conform to these standards in order to fit society’s definition of beauty. In reality, they are cheapening their God-given beauty.
Do Not Believe These Lies
These attributes do not make you Cute. If you have accepted God’s free gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, you are already Cute. You are Covered Until The End. The truth is no matter how the world defines it, you are Cute simply because God’s Word says so:
“I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Thy works, and my soul knows it very well.”
Psalm 139:14
