Jesus’ Resurrection… it started with a cross. A cross led to His death. His death resulted in the greatest resurrection on earth! The risen Savior brought new life, new hope, new joy! Jesus paid the penalty of our sin on the cross, so that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness and eternal life.
The road to the cross was the only way for Jesus to deal with sin.
Valentine’s Day… a day when many look for bouquets of flowers-roses, violets, orchids, and lilies. A day to indulge in delectable chocolates, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, and little candy conversation hearts echoing sentiments such as “I love you, Be mine, You are Cute.” A day to receive jewelry, fancy dinners, teddy bears, Valentine’s gift boxes, and other tokens of affection or expressions of love from someone. A day when many simply desire the heart of a man or woman because they seek a love relationship.

Thanksgiving time again. Time to feast on the sacrificial turkey… the bird slaughtered so you can enjoy a celebratory feast.
Time to experience the table full of grace… all the trimmings your body doesn’t necessarily need but craves… delicacies like casseroles, macaroni and cheese, greens, dressing, gravies, rolls, cornbread, cranberry sauce, pies, cakes, ice cream, etc. (but hey, it’s Thanksgiving).
Time to ponder over the table of mercy… the things you’re not eating, but truly need to eat to keep your body healthy… like vegetables, fruits, and salads without the extras.
As Christians, this should remind us of the grace and mercy table we eat from every day.

So, the designers set their sights on transforming the present condition of the house into the image of a newly designed work.
